Not completely OT. Looking at 928
Hi all.I was going to post over at the 928 section...but it doesnt get reposnses as fast.Plus I trust a few of you fellas...
Im looking at a 1982 928 with 75k on the clock. Its undergone a complete S4 clone. Engine, Tranny, front and rear body includeing light fixtures and all, and interior. What is it worth you think?(or what would you be willing to pay for it?) Good condition. Black on Tan. It would still be titled as an 82

Sounds like someone spent an awful lot of money on their car! As far as your insurance company will be concerned, it is still an 82. 6-10k would make the car a sweet deal as real S4s are going for 12-18K. What is the asking price? Define "good condition".

Still titled as an 82.. Using "Edmonds or Kelly Blue Book Conditions" Between good at excellent.
