944 turbo rear diffuser on 924 S ?

My friend swears he saw a 924 S with s 944 Turbo rear diffuser and that it looked awesome ...
I'm sure it would look good but don't think it would fit (fender flares and all)...
Does anyone know ?

Thanks

I think the 944 turbo bumper and rear fenders are alot different, To get it to fit right you might has to shorten the diffuser

There is a little known fact that the last of the 924S's for the Euro market had a similar rear defuser. Might have even been the Lemans car. I have pictures of it at home.

Also there are aftermarket products like talked about above from Tweeks.

But a factory part always fits better.

The 944 one would not fit properly. The turbos rear end is much wider.

Bingo, the LeMans 924S did come with a similar rear under diffuser. I have a pic of a black one with teal trim and a diffuser somewhere at home.

A handy bodyman may be able to adapt a 951/S2 unit if one so desires.
