I have a 86 944 N/A with phone dials...what's my lug pattern?
Title says it...and it's a 47mm offset, right?
|
if its an '86 its 23mm offset, thats the early offset, all cars before '87...
|
So if I picked up a pair of early phone dials for the rear it'd bring them out 24mm on either side? That's fill the wheel well very nicely...
What about pattern? (and thanx!) |
5x130mm
|
Your 86 has early offset wheels. (23 mm)
A 47 mm offset wheel will retract 24 mm in towards the body of the car. If you want to run late offset wheels you need a spacer..... |
What size spacer?
|
Lug pattern the same for all Pcars from 944 on.
|
You will need spacer to make them look right. Spacer size can be a matter of preference as well. 24mm will bring it out to stock BUT.........If you are spacing you might think about going bigger.
if you go up to 2" (or 2.5) rear (not sure of the front) the tires will come out in the wheel well and you can run even later offset wheels in the future. Just a thought. |

thanks guys...I was just looking at wheel options trying to find a way to ake my rear wheels fill the rear wells like my fronts do...
