Door wiring
hey all, well in between what seems like spending every spare minute after work etc polishing Fuch's.........I had got a replacement drivers door. I took it off a car at a breakers and cut the wiring as I was in a hurry. Is there any way of getting the wiring out of the door when I swap them to avoid cutting and re-joining the car loom - mainly at the wing mirror - the plug doesn't seem to fit back through the hole in the top of the door?

You could take apart the mirror and disconnect the wires and feed them threw the door, I think there is only like 3-4 wires in the mirror

fast is right..........
There is a procedure out there to remove the mirrors....... but dont ask me.... I followed them and still managed to break something. Once you have it open.... the wires can be pushed out of the connector...

I would just cut the wires going to the mirrors, it is easier to just solder them back later than to try and pull them through.
