need info on pistons and years

Ok SO I was talking to some rennlist guys about pistons, From what I gathered the 1988 924S has higher CR pistons approx 10.2 to 1. The euro 944 has a CR of 10.6 to 1. Can anyone verify this info or give me a site that list this type of info. Also If anyone knows where I could get a set of 944 euro or 88 924S pistons it would be a big help

Ok I got new info, can anyone verify theses numbers

US Spec 83-87 = 9.6:1 approx 143-147 hp
Euro Spec 82-87 = 10.6:1 approx 163 hp
924S Worldwide 85-87 = 9.6:1 approx 147 hp
1988 Worldwide (including 924S) = 10.2:1 approx 158 hp


944S pistons are 10.9:1

89 pistons are 2.7L units
951 pistons are 8.0:1 worldwide.

944S used a different head and combustion chamber which may explain much higher compression.

What type of head did the 944S use??? 16v???/

yes, the 944S's have a 16v head and 10.9 compression pistons.
