What adhesive do I use for the 944 numbers?

The PO of my car took off the letters 944 (along with some paint). The question I have is what type of adhesive do I use to put these letters back on the car?

I used black double sided body moulding tape. I put it on the numbers and trimmed it to fit them. you can get it in any auto parts store

I used epoxy, I guess that's a no-no, lol.

I've still got the numbers with the original backing paper on before they were ever stuck on the car!! Does anyone know whether the cars had the option of having numbers stuck on or not, or whether in a previous life it's had a new back end and no one bothered to stick the numbers on? - i certainly cannot see any joints and it still has the 'porsche' script below the lights.

A UK club member told me the euro spec ones did have it as an option to have no badge there were also a few other leave off options such as the moulding trim all round maybe to improve styling who knows I prefer it with all that stuff on.

Ya, in europe people dont flaunt their engine displacement with 750 badges or what not. Dont see too many "type r" civics there either.

good adhesive remover is lighter fluid (zippo type) Tends to work for most things. It may take several applications and rubbing with at clean cloth.

Wonder why someone would steall your 944 badge.....the hood badge I could see but the 944 badge......people are whack.
