Early 80's Porsche comes out with the 944
Late 80's New Mazda RX-7 mimics the look of the 944 Early 90's seller with Porsche tries to mimic RX-7

The lines of the 2nd gen 7 are cleaner than a 944. Style-wise, the look is more appealing, but less functional, i.e. the rears cannot accomodate a 9"+ wheel without modification.

i love the 944 to death, but to me it doesnt look better than a 3rd gen rx7

Ths side skirts look horrible IMO. They are just chunky and wrong. I do like the rear though.
