What the heck are these things

I noticed these when I was checking my thermoswitch about a week ago... there are two, and they are in the driver's side wheel well. There are two electrical connectors running into each one. I noticed one was unplugged, so I plugged it back in. I didn't notice any difference in anything.

haha i just honked the horn after reconnecting the wire... it is much louder. I don't think the air horns are hooked up.

wow that's a pretty good location for aftermarket air horns. i've been thinking of upgrading my horns for a while and couldn't figure out where to put them.

how do the air horns get their power? i'm wondering how difficult this would be to set up.

The twin air horns in that photo get their air from the mini compressor in the same photo. A small electric unit, they are quite a bit louder than stock, I have a set on my boat..

Just love how the PO poked holes through the tub area. Bet it leaks inside the passenger compartment.

there's supposed to be a battery shield, which is a flap of metal that's bolted on to the underside of the hood to cover that gap. it's not water-tight, but it does prevent outside access to the battery when the hood is down.

I wonder if it will play "Dixie" like the Dukes of Hazzard when you fire them up?

no water leaks in the passenger compartment, and the battery tray is fine.
