Porsche Crest The engine is finished!!!

For those of you who have been looking at some of my resto threads, thought I would put up a shot of the newly rebuilt engine prior to installation....only a few thousand more steps and she will be good as new :-)

That looks tasty sweet!

Now ...you know you want to.....take that water return line off and paint it!......come on....what are you waiting for....I know you have some red, silver or black paint leftover....

Really looks great though!

Is that a stock engine with a rebuild or does it have some mods done internally?

Gorgeous, but I don't think it's going to fit in that white 911 in the background...

The price....a lot....but, I plan on keeping this car a long time and in my opinion it is well worth the money I have invested in it....engine parts, machining, etc was around 4,500....just don't tell my wife :-)

Very nice work!!!!!!

All I suggest is that you don't even think of adding the bills up.

Bluebullet....the headers where part of the rebuild price from Broadfoot Racing...not sure how much they would be on their own.

ae1969....you are right, if add the bills up, I could have had a new Carrera GT by now!!!! LOL

But a nice engine none-the-less.

Zlatko...True, price was a bit...well....pricey...but I looked at a lot of diffrent options (i.e. turbo motor, 968 motor, etc) and the cost of doing any of the other projects would have been signficantly higher and low mileage examples are rare at best +++ the multiple modifications you would need to make for both alternatives...it just did not appeal to me
