Porsche Crest Brake Booster Questions

Does anyone know if the booster/ master cylinder combo on a late model 944na is interchangable. For example, Porsche used two diffrent companies for both parts (booster and master cylinder = ATE/FAG & Girling) My question is does it matter which you have if you are going to replace? I currently have a Girling Brake Booster and Master Cylinder...I want to replace the booster, however the Girling Version is around $900!!!! and the ATE version is around $195.....Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes......

Yes, the boosters and master cylinders are interchangeable, with one caveat:

If you swap brands (ATE to Girling or vice versa) you need to adjust the booster pushrod.
