Instruments stopped working

All the sudden, the instruments stopped working. The car still drives fine but the temperature, speed and oil pressure display all went zero. The cooling fan works as well. Checked the fuses and did not find anything bad.

What could cause this problem? Any idea?

Thanks

Ted

Double check your fuses.

Also check behind the instrument cluster to see if you lost a ground wire somewhere.

Double checked the fuses but did not find any bad ones.

Guess it's time to remove the instruments cluster to check the grounds.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will post back the results.

The instrument cluster problem has been happening once
in a while after some driving in the past few months.
It never happened during the driving.
When it happened, all instrument displays
stopped except the battery light. Normally, the problem would go away after few days.

I checked the fuses, no problem. Checked some of the
ground points under the electrical panel, did not see any
thing loose. It might be a bad connection in the plug
going into the panel but not sure.

Any ideas and suggestions are appreciated.

Which three connectors? The one behind the
instruments (or two) and the one going into
the panel?

I've only found 4 ground points, two under the hood
and two under the instruments. Did some testing
and they seem all clean and not loose.

Any other ground points I missed? Thanks.
