hope the Lotus Elise and Corvette came out of the crash better than the 944!

actually, except for the rear end, it looks kinda cool

i wouldn't call this a 944 with a body kit, though... more like a complete redesign

I mean hands up it looks like a good job but why? Unique? Not my cup of tea - love the '44's lines the way they are!

Well, in their defense....(I cant believe I am defending it)

The 44 was rearended beyond all repair. Totally crushed. There were no 'finished' pics though. Hhhmmmm

ah looking at it that way it makes a bit of sense but, reckon the chasis will be pretty ropey unless its been pulled or jigged.

Yes, many countries it is cheaper to do exotic/extravagant mods rather than paying the tax.

From the first pic I can hardly believe that the end result turned out like it did.

I second that. Props for their skill, but the end result is to........."boy racer". I'm starting to see a small element of the 944 crowd thats coming awfully close to ricer-type mods. It seems to go with the territory for guys under the 20-24yr age bracket.

Come on guys! Shame on you. It's UGGs.

OK now that I have seen the pics I hate it, The front looks like a civic body kit, the rear sits to high and you an see way to much of the ugly underbody, Whats up with all the vents??? Also there are fog lights all over this car, 4 in front 2 in back. The rear fin is way to big.

Likes, I like the big front and rear fenders, I like the vent behind the front wheels. Thats about it

But hay to each his own, I still think its cool that he built it. Wish I could make custom body parts

I didn't see the front....

I take back what I said about kinda liking it. The front 'spoiler' is ricer all the way.

The front spoiler is the only part I don't like.
My hat is off to the guys that did it, some amazing skill they have.
I really like the rest of it though. If the car had some BAD body damage, they sure made the best of a bad situation!

I don't care for it myself, but is shows great skill. If the owner likes it, more power to him.

Hey I am no ricer. I would never do anything like that to my car. As a matter of fact, if it weren't for the fact that it sits an inch and a quarter lower than stock, my car is completely unaltered from factory cosmetically.

If this was a new car design and not a 944 body kit, i would like it ok. That's what i'm saying.
