Or Bloomington/Normal, more specifically.
I want to have my belts inspected when the winter is over, but I don't know of any local shops with knowledge of 944s. Anyone know of anyplace in Bloomington/Normal? I suppose I could go to one of the two closest Porsche dealerships: Isringhausen in Springfield or Süd's in Peoria, but they're each 50 miles away. I'd like to find a place in town that I could have my car towed to if (God forbid) the need should arise. I know my chances are relatively slim in getting an answer, but I've seen a few 944 NAs around town...

I am in Champaign, which isn't too far of a shot from you and there is a shop here that is really experienced with 944s. They seem to always have at least 2 sitting there along with a track car (god do I want it). The technician is Porsche registered and really knows his stuff. If you want more info send me a PM.
