Removing headliner from sunroof panel
I tried prying off the little plastic bits, thinking they were conceleaing screws... but they weren't, and I pretty much mangled the one I pried out.. is there any better way of doing this?

Got it off... After destroying most of the clips, my hand(huge gash from the screwdriver I was using), and a small area of the headliner itself.
Was there any other way to go about this? Some of the clips came out fairly easily and cleanly, while others had to be completely destroyed. |

i pried mine off when i replaced the front sunroof clips... after I pried off the little round clips (which was easy on mine) and unscrewed the metal bits, it came right off. Took about 10 mins.
Maybe yours had never been tampered with, so the plastic clip covers were "welded" onto the liner from years of heat and remaining untouched?

rivets
Those are small plastic rivets. You can drill the centers out with a small bit, and they will pull right out. You can do all of them on a panel in about 10min tops.
