Water Pump Failure

How do you know when your water pump has failed? What are the symptoms?

1). Usually the bearing will start making noise
2). Look for coolant right beneath the water pump on your engine tray or the floor if you don't have one
3). Remove the timing belt cover and check for coolant inside and all over the belt.
Do not drive the car if you think your w.pump bearing went or you see coolant, (this will lead to a sheared timing belt which will bend your valves.)
