Instrument Panel Faces

Has anyone here ever converted over to the newer style faces being sold on eBay? Has anyone tried to put these into an '86? There are more things on these gauges than on the OEM style. Is there a better aftermarket substitute that someone can recommend?

They look too ricey for me... Look at his other auctions, K&N filters, fart can mufflers, body kits, euro tails.

Asking if you should replace that timing belt is like asking if you should re-use a condom that may have in hole in it with a hooker.

even with the bulb housing refinished and lighting upgrade, while decend, leaves something to be desired IMO. I want the guages to jump out at me instead of having to focus on them (esp. since i seem to have a compulsive disorder of always checking my temp). those definitely do it. i wonder what sort of wiring is required.

But will these still work on my '86 since the car doesn't have the extra features: antilock, servo, etc.?

They should work fine. Just wiring them into a power wire (headlights would work well, seeing as you need them go glow mainly at the same time you are using the headlights) and then wire them up to a ground. Not hard at all.
