Isn't there some modification that has to be done to get the later style to fit in the earlies? 85.5> are flush, and earlies have the inset windshield... right?

i got an answer from a glass mechanic: this sounds correct ,
Thanks all! ProSource Glass Junior Member Registered: May 2004 Location: Andover, MA Posts: 12 Windshield replacement I believe the difference is the antenna in the later one and the late 85 has an encapsulation (gasket attached to windshield). The earlier 85 does not so you have to buy the molding seperately..I think from what i remember.. __________________ ProSource Glass International PO Box 996 Andover, MA 01810 Tel:877-345-2800 978-975-5400 Fax:978-975-5300 Email:richardt@prosourceglassintl.com |
