86 944 headlite assembly costs?
Hey guys,
I am going to look at a 86 944 Turbo soon and the guy says its been smacked at the drivers front, so it needs a new headlite assembly. Can anyone offer what replacement costs might be please? Both OEM and a used part(s) costs would be great. Thanks Doug

As a comparison, IAN on rennlist is selling ( or maybe sold) a complete nose from a 951...including the nose-panel, front valance, lights, headlights, fenders and hood....all for $550.00 !!
If you are looking for just the headlight bucket, I bought one for my NA about 2 yrs ago at hershey...the guy had NA and turbo units...the NA's were $25 and I think the turbos were slightly more....included the bucket, cover, headlight and the bracket on the back that attaches to the lifting linkage.....no pivots though.

Hello Joe,
Thanks much for the heads up... Wow, that does sound like a very good value on IAN's! I should check out this 951 within a few days depending on the weather here. I will know then if I want it and what all she is going to need. Mike also left me a PM on some. Happy holidays & thanks again, Doug
