Turbo S Transmission
Is there any way to tell by looking at a transmission if it is the "Turbo S" variant?

turbo s trans
It should have AOR stamped into the case on top near where the torque tube bolts on. Besides this it will be LSD and most likely has a cooler.

Thank you much. I found one for sale and wanted to make sure that it was legitimate.
So I'd have to get an tranny fluid cooler too if I wanted to try to fit this into my 'S?
