running w\o p/s belt
my steering rack leaks so i removed the belt to avoid running the pump dry, will it do damage to the rack driving without the belt? it actually turns better w\o the belt than with low fluid.

No just make sure there is fluid in the resivor to keep stuff lubricated, it should be ok, the only big difference you will notice is its harder to turn when going slow
