Tachometer compatibility
Will a 924S tach work in an 83' 944? Only difference I know of is the shift light, but will it work properly otherwise?

That was what I had seen too, but I thought maybe that was just for the shift indicator... Thanks. Do you have 83' tachs for sale?

I replaced all the gauges in my 944 with 924S gauges ( i like the white letters better than the yellow). It worked out fine, no fuel economy gauge but that was annoying anyway. I have 2 83 944 tachs F/S though if you want send me a PM.

Glad to hear it, thanks. I'll keep that in mind if this doesn't work out.
