The '44 went bye bye today...
Well, since my father's death in November I've had no time and have been too strapped to pursue the projects I really wanted to. Being that, the Porsche (as well as all my other project vehicles and some other stuff) wen to her new owner today.
Left in her wake, though... ![]() ![]() 1998 Suzuki TL1000S. She needs new tires and to be cleaned up some, but she's a great bike. I got the cash I needed, too, and a toy for he few times I forsee having time to enjoy one in the future, though...I'll probably end up having to sell her, too, though... ...

Sorry you lost your dad. My dad died in 1984, at age 50.
Good luck with everything.

The new owner is a good guy...takes care of his stuff really well. He seems like the person I would be if I had the spare time: a collector of toys. The bike was his and was worked in as partial trade for everything I handed over to him and you can tell, by the bike, that his stuff is well-kept...all in-doors.
I got her running long enough to determine the exact problem...fuel pump is shot. He says he'll handle it, though.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your father. You have some corn on your rear tire. I hate filling deer feeders. Do the Mule deer co-exsist with white tails around your parts?

They just exist...no co-exist. We've got both but the local herds (18 white-tail in 4 groups and 14 mulies in 4/5 groups) stay pretty far from one another. We don't have feeders, here...that corn is picked up from our scale at work where I weighed her (440lbs). I work at a cattle feedyard and the deer usually come onto our propperty to eat the cattle-feed.
We can't hunt mulies here, though...

What a crock of bs that is... Hansford and Shepard counties are being discriminated against.

My condolensces to you and your family. Losing a loved one causes most everyone to re-evaluate their priorities in life. I hope that you will, in the future, attain some speedy toys again when you're ready.
