clutch inspection plug

Does anyone know where on the net I can find a plug for the clutch inspection hole in the bellhousing- mine seems to have gone missing. Thanks for any pointers,
Gabe

Go to the dealer and order 931 116 177 00 and install it. Then it will fall out again so buy another one. Alternatively, put some tape around it.
Most 944s have the cover missing. Doesn't make any difference.

Yeah, I've never actually seen one on a 944.

Now, if there was a plug for the inspection hole off the reference sensors that would sell like hotcakes.

That one does make a difference. Drop nuts down into it, heater hoses leaking coolant down and washing the grease off the clutch disc splines = clutch replacement.

What a boneheaded design.
