heater not working
 

I just fixed my A/C it was simply a hose came off under the glove box and now it works. But I still cant get the heater to work. When I turn it on I feel a small amount of heat coming thru the vents.Is there something similar for the heater.

Also when I try to move the controls on the ac/heater box it only comes out of the dash vents. It dosent come thru the defrost vents.I pulled out the control box and the long metal connecters going to it came loose but I fixed them but I still cant switch the direction of the flow thru the vent.

Im not sure if I explained myself very well.
