I am looking for a body kit or at least a front bumper and maybe more later. I know fiberwerkes sells them and so does 944online.com... does anyone else know of somewhere else that sells them or how to get it cheaper? also... is it really hard to install. If i had a local shop that did body work would they have any problem installing it right? And what do you think it would cost to get it painted. Okay thanks....

What are you trying to do? Bear in mind that race fiberglass isn't made for close up inspection.

Yes, race fiberglass isn't made for close up inspection
I have not seen a turbo ‘conversion’ (knock off) that looked good. Most that have gone this route were disappointed. See: http://www.************************/ProductPage.aspx?ProductName=Turbo+Bumper+Conversi on&productid=106398&producttype=20 but for about the same $900 (with the lights) you can buy the real thing used…bumper, bumper cover, fenders, headlight covers and header panel. and it looks 100x better. dunno about Fiberwerks…that might be an alternative but I think the real S2/Turbo look is better

What about the parts at www.gt-racing.com? Are they of high-quality?

I have heard good things about GT-racing, I will be going to them when I do my body conversion to a GT. You need to remember that fiberglass needs some word done to it when you get it or it hust wont look right. But I would think any body shop could help you out.

My 924GT is for sale here, take a look to see what the fit & finish look like. It's the 12th conversion built by Stratton Motorsports and they only use GT Racing parts. Hank @ GT is very helpful and I've found his rep. to be top notch.
Good Luck, Steve
