heater question

I have a 1987 944S, I have no floor heat where can I locate the damper and the servo that operates it?? Thanks chris

Are you sure you need a damper or servo, I had a problem like yours where i only had hot air blowing through, and if you remove your glove box completly and look up towards the heater contol unit, you will see 2 metal rods with little white clips on each end, it could be a possibility that the one that controls the air blowing to your feet has cracked and fell off, and if it has cracked and the arm has fell off it automaticly sends all the blowing air up to the screen to clear that.
