s2 water leak

I noticed yesterday some drips of water coming from the front of my 944cab.Looking closely it seems to be coming from the base of the radiator underneath the fans so it looks like i'm going to have to replace it.I've checked the hoses and thay appear to be ok and dry and also the water pump (changed at 80k - now 99k) again has no evidence of leaking. This would explain why i've been topping up the reservoir every 3 weeks or so.I'm tempted to have a go at changing the rad myself as i did my 924 two years ago.Is it a simple job and does anyone have any tips on how to remove the rad on an s2.cheers.

I would pressurize the cooling system to determine for sure where the leak is. The process of taking the radiator out of a S2 is pretty much the same as on the 924.

oh and one more thing, there is a guy on ebay who makes and sells radiators for mustangs and for 944's for I think around $250. It's a lot cheaper than OEM and some of the guys on rennlist have used them and they are good.

i got a used one/auto, a year ago for $100 and didn't have any problems, from 1 of the p-car wrecking yards, unless you gotta have new.
