it's actually "lauan" and it is not the heavy cardboard stuff, although you can buy that as well, it's actually about the same thickness but it's a plywood type material, a little heavier but a lot more stiff and water resistant (you could probably varnish it too if you had to)

Actually I just thought of one that I could do, assuming I have free time this weekend - I got another seat cover for the driver's side bottom as the PO put some Rennbay covers on the seats but f'ed up cutting the hole around the power seat switches. I was going to post some pics of the leftover parts to see if someone could explain to me what I needed to do but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Might take a stab at the rear brake hoses too if I have time...

Oh, and TCMdocs - no I didn't paint the calipers because I was going to order new fronts at some point, but I ended up owing $400 on my federal taxes so that will have to wait another couple weeks :( no undercoat on the wheel wells either, I hate the stuff, but I might scuff them and paint them semi-gloss black if I get a wild hair up my butt...
