944 n/a exhaust wil this fit
Sellers not sure if this is for a 924 or 944 any ideas? Will it fit my 84 2.5 n/a?

What size is the pipe??? also I dont see any hangers on the back of the muffler (near the tip). Not sure take a good look at yours and measure the pipe dia' of the one in the pic. I believe 2 and 1/4 is the stock pipe dia.

It looks just like my old one I took off, you just don't have the hangers on there - you may need to weld those up and it should fit right on.

that's from a 2.0L 924NA, you can see the marks from where the strap wrapped around it to hang it.

if Azndrgn is right, then the pipe diameter is probably not like the 2.25 944 piping.
I'd just go get a universal center in/center out muffler welded on. My magnaflow was $112 to have the pipe cut and that welded in - not a bad price at all. If you have a sawzall and a welder, it's practically free. Why are you replacing this?

Cheers all, Ryan - my chrome tail pipe was damaged on a low wall and looks really bad replacement trim is £27 and this exhaust was cheap on ebay so was just going to replace the whole box. I decided not to bid as the fittings looked wrong from everyones info etc and I can't weld! Think I will get an SSteel box anyway.
