Clewett Spark Plug Wires on a 944
Just curious if any of you guys have installed these ignition wires on your 944. I just bought a set. The fit just fine over the plug, but they dont seat/sit flush on the valve cover. Is this ok?

I buy about 12 feet of wire and the crimp on ends. Sometimes the wires are corroded into the threads inside the weather boots. You can pop out the inners with a bit of silicone lube so you can get the broken section out.
All of the stranded wires are 16 gauge. The only thing that changes is the OD of the insulation. So a set of 10mm wires has the same conductor as a set of stock 7mm wires. Also the stock OD will fit in the plastic guides while the larger diameters will not.
