Stone guards

I saw a couple of 944s with black stone guards, instead of the clear ones. Anyone ever seen these, or know where to get them?

I believe that the black ones were availible from the dealer initially on a very limited basis. I think its next to impo$$ible to find them these days. Unless you're lucky enough to find a NOS batch of them. You might want to post this question on the 911 board (as they came with those as well). They might be able to point you in the right direction.

Geez, and here I thought the black stone guards on one side of my car were just from dirt and baking in the sun. You can have 'em if you want 'em... just bring a hair drye..I mean heat gun and scraper.
