I love supras!!!! Besides the body kit, is it stock???? I would think the supra would win, its got a six speed so it has better gear ratios and its a straight six with twin turbos 24 valves a DOHC so Im sure it has a ton more torque then a stock 951, I think the stock supra TT cam with about 320hp and 315tq 0-60 time is 4.6 secs and 1/4 mile time is 13.1 at 109mph and its top speed is 160mph. Now thats a stock setup theses things can easily hit 500-600hp I have even seen them in the 800-1000Hp ranges.

I would think that Nissan 300ZX TT has a better chance then a stock 951

I had an '86 MK-II Supra for 10-years and did everything possible to upgrade it (starting from the crankshaft outwards). In the end, it went 254k-miles and was much, much more durable than my 951, especially considering the abuse I dealth it (think high-school kid learning to drive). My stock '86 951 was way faster than that Supra in its final fastest configuration.

Howver, the '94 MK-IV SupraTT is a no-holds-barred assasin. In stock trim, it's about 1-sec faster in 0-60 and 1/4-mile than the 951, so at whatever speed contest you devise, it's going to come down to driver-reaction times. If you catch her for just a fraction of a second, you may be able to hold her off for a while, but if it's an identical start, be it from stand-still or any roll-on speed, you're gonna get your ass handed to you. With the traction-control fuse pulled to defeat speed-limiter, the stock SupraTT will have a 172-175mph top-speed, about 18-20mph faster than a non-S Turbo.

Car & Drive rmanaged a 0-60 time of 4.6s, but I think Toyota slipped them a ringer. Most other reviews put it a 4.8-5.1s, about the same as a chip-upgraded TurboS @ 18psi boost. Road & Track did a comparison of the '93 SupraTT compared to the Ferrari 512TR and Porsche 3.6 C2-Turbo around Firebird raceway in AZ. It held its own pretty darn good with pulling identical lap-times despite a 75-150hp deficit compared to those supercars. The thing's a bit too plush and heavy for an autocross, but on a roadrace course, it's pretty darn good.

There was a guy with a SupraTT that's been giving me fits at Willow Springs. With my mods and big tyres on m 951, I'm pulling around 1:34-1:35, about 4-5 seconds faster than Derek Bell in a stock 951. The SupraTT's getting 1:30-1:31 times, he's pulling away by about TWO football fields every lap. A supposedly bone-stock Z06 with DOT-R tyres supposed did 1:29s right off the showroom floor in stock trim. Then again, Wayne Mello in his stripped out 2250-lb 951 with race-slicks did 1:27-1:28s... beating Mumford in his Viper-ACR a couple years ago

Those are nice cars. I've never understood the ricer's desire to pimp up the bodies with their F&F "mods". They only manage to ruin the lines of an otherwise beautiful car. The nose piece on the one pictured is just fugly.
