good 944 tires= pirelli p7000

Just driving the 944 this w\e and am really getting a feel for these pirelli p7000 tires .I highly recommend the as they hold the ground great on those sharp turns! Just thought i'd mention it in case anyone was considering buying them: do it!

I've run the 7000's, and they just weren't for me, and after the 5000's i had last, I'd never buy another dunlop again - they never did balance out well or ride decently. I love the Yokohamas. If they made the A008P in the right size any more I'd go for those, but I love the ES100's on it now!

I have Pirelli P7000's on my 968....and they're almost worn out...and they're louder than heck! I'm buying a different brand next time. The performance is great on the 7000's but I don't track my car so it's not as important to me. I'm looking for suggestions for a quieter tire.

I can just go with what has worked for me and would get a set of nitto performance tires for my next set. Noise is not a problem for me with the 44, I have a knob on the dash that cancels unwanted noise. Its the grip that counts and I need to feel confident on those sharp turns or can end up on someones lawn again, or ditch etc.

noise isn't an issue for me either - the sub and SFR exhaust drown out ALL noise caused by the tires.

Im sticking to Michelin Pilot Sports. The next car currently has 18s" on it, so at $800 something for a set of 4 it isnt cheap.

Pirelli P Zero Rossos are really good too. As are Toyo T1S.
