New brakes:-D SS Lines?

Mmmm...I got new brakes:-D Hawk HPS pads and discs from Frozen Rotors!! I'm so excited...

I want to upgrade to SS brake lines, is anyone here running them? Dad and I put a set on the Z3 and it noticeably firmer. Who should I get them from? I noticed a lot of companies (including Pelican) has SS brake lines, but I haven't seen a bunch of different manufactors. Any opinions on where to get them from (price not withstanding)?

I can't wait to get the 944 back on the road. SS brake lines, pads, rotors, and some SuperBlue....Is anyone else waiting to get their car back on the road? It's a hard wait!

How is the brake noise with the Hawk Pads? Are they rough on the rotors?

I am not a big fan of SS brake lines. It is very difficult to inspect the lines for wear and cracking due to the SS braided outer sleeve.

I run my car on the track, and use the stock rubber hoses. Yeah, I experience a little bit of brake fade, but the solution for that is to brake less!

Just my $0.42,
-Z.

I havent had any brake noise and they are very low on dust, the rotors have been fine and the pads are lasting forever

I put on "big blacks", new rotors, rebuilt calipers, and new pads. I was very pleased with the result. Then I put on SS brake lines from lindsey racing-WOW, better brake response after hard autocrossing and no fade. this is just my 2 cents. who cares about the condition of the lines, at $79.00 replace them every year!
