What a diff.,.

Just got my '87 DME with the Weltmiester preinstalled and wow, what a difference. It wasn't that hard to change. The hardest part was that one bolt for the AFM thats barried in the corner of the air box. I can't wait to really try out this chip while delivering pizzas tonight. I also love that I no longer have engine shutter.

Ahhhhh yes...........the simple pleasures in life.

I was going to look into that chip. Is it for the 8v N/A only?

nynor 04-02-2005 05:08 PM

auh,

what did you change so that you could use an '87 DME?

auh 04-02-2005 08:02 PM

I bought an AFM and DME with the chip already installed off the same parts car. It took me not even an hour to do. so simple

Also, I'm not sure if it only works on NA 8v engines. I would go to any performance website that sells there product and see if there is a diff in numbers from one chip to the other

Oh come on now, a college student has to make money somehow...

There is a kid that delivers pizzas in Avon in a 911SC Targa (it is his 3rd porsche). He puts the triangular pizza sign on his engine lid, and from afar it looks like a ducktail.

Seriously.

I will try to get pictures.

a few years back i was at a party out in the middle of the country, we had a pizza joint that does out of town deliverys deliver some food, anyhow he arives in a mercades sl600 (older man, my guess was the owner) we get our food then he leaves, and we realize we didnt get part of our order, so we call them back. so they bring the food back to us and i look outside to see some HID's and its a 968 with some very nice bbs wheels...

then i got a job delivering in my nissan... someday... i told myself

Just having a little fun! I wonder what some of the people that get these pizzas are thinking when they see a Porsche show up! "good god! so THATS why these pizzas are so expensive!" hehe

thank god, i don't have to use one of those signs advertising the company I work for
