Porsche Crest fender dilemma...

hows it going everyone...I was just wondering what year fenders fit what year cars...for instance will an 83 944 fender fit an earlier 85 944. Oh and how much do you think it would cost to have just a single fender painted alpine white?

NA's and S's all use the same fender.

Turbo's and S2's are different than NA's, but interchangable with each other.

Need to point out, early N/A fenders have a hole for an antenna, late N/A or S fenders do not.
So, up to 85.5 driver's fenders are not directly compatible with 85.5+ driver's fenders, and vice versa.

Alright I think I found the fender, but right now I have the option of having they guy I am purchasing it from paint it alpine white before he sends it to me. Keep in mind that he has a bodyshop and that he will paint it for very cheap...

Also keep in mind that my car is 20 years old and that the paint may have faded a bit over the years....

Do you think I should have him paint it or should I just have him send it, and when it arrives, bring it to a body shop to color match it to my car?

Visibly my cars paint looks good but I dont know....?

Maybe send him a chip off the old fender to match?
