Angry Heater Control

I have checked the board and found that small plastic clip that holds the control rod is broken under the drivers side dash. So, I tied the flap down so that I don't get blasted with hot air.

Now question: When I move the slider control on the climate control left and right and I was expecting to see some movement near the rod that connects to the motor. However nothing moves. I'm guessing some electical is wrong between the climate control to the rest of the system. Only fan control works. Where can I find wiring diagram? Or better yet, did anyone have this problem and know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

check the fuse. Number 29, 7.5 amps. The rod you tied down controls the temp. The other two control the upper and lower vent levels.
