Question Flamingo Metallic

Anyone here have "Flamingo Metallic" (LY4Z) paint on their 944?

Is this a "rare" color for a Porsche?

Hmm.. Looks like it was only offered in 1987 from the chart.

Wonder if this is correct..

Flamingo = Der Flamingo.

Yes, it was not a very popular color - it was introduced in 1987 and discontinued for 1988. In a manner of speaking, it is somewhat rare. The closest color to it is silver-rose metallic on the 944 turbo S.
