Talking Antenna - What do you do?

What do you guys/gals do for an antenna on your 944?

Needless to say, mine doesn't have the original windshield with the built in antenna and I am trying to decide what to do as a replacement..

I thought about mounting one, but it might look kinda lame, no?

Any thoughts?

There is a marine antenna used for hotrods. You mount it under the dash or in the engine bay under the air intake area by the dash. Works great! sells for about $20 bucks on ebay as well.
check out this link....

you can also do a forum search for "hidden antenna"

Is satilite radio an option? I have never used it so I am not sure what it uses for an antenna.

I found the one that I've used on several vehicles. FM only. Made by "Tune Trapper" by ECS Corp. Mount it inside engine bay, under the freshair cabin intake area.. works fine. cannot be easily seen there.
Available in multiple places.. found it below:

I mounted mine in the back seat area. It got annoying trying to fix the electric one all the time.

Thumbs up What about AM?

Sounds good. Think I will go with one of the under the hood antennas.. but they only seem to do FM.

Anyone know of one that does AM too?

Thanks.

Dude why not just get a XM radio, they are really cool and you can get everything from MTV to the discovery channel over the radio
