low temp thermofan switch

There are a lot of different types of these and I was wondering what the low temp one is...

Does 82 degrees sound right? cause that was the lowest temp switch I found but it doesn't sound that much lower than the 92 degree one.

I ask cause idk what is normal temp, low temp, etc.

Thanks

Celsius not Fahrenheit. Your thermostat has to match too.

You can't trust the dash gauge. Bad grounds at the engine and for the gauges can throw it off.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Not fer nuthin, but installing an indicator light across the thermofan switch acts as an excellent "indicator" as to when the fans are on or off. Light lights when the fan is off and goes off when the fan is activated. Iused a relay to provide the "switching" so when the ignition was off, no power to the relay, opens up, and therefore no continuity to the "indicator" Worked like a charm!!

Just an indication of my paranoia....

Hpe you are not confusing the later two element radiator temp switch with the early single element switch.
