Fire!!
Last night had a fuel fire under the hood of my 924S. Got it put out with very little paint damage. Looks like an injector O-ring leaked. Most wires are fried and the gas lines that run on top of the engine are crisp. Will most 944 n/a wires & fuel lines work? Any idea on cost for the parts from a parts car should run? She was running so GOOD!! I guess Im lucky, could have lost the whole car. Also the clutch went to the floor and the brakes went out right as I Knew there was a problem. Probable lost a vaccum line on the brakes but what caused the clutch pedel to go to the floor? Any help would be apprecited. Thanks Larry

Wow bor, Im happy to see you are ok and that the 924S made it alive, there are so few of us 924S guys on the road that it would be said to see another lost. Yes most 944 and 924S engine and electrical parts are the same since the 924S is just a 944 in a 924 body. Only thin that might be different is that on some 944 the fuel lines come in from the exhaust manifold side where as mine come in from the d/s, other then that you should just be able to find some used 944 stuff and swapp away. You might want to check to make sure none of the clutch or brake hydrolics where damaged. Used parts should cost too much ask around the furom Im sure some one has some stuff you can use
