AT Filter Change Need Advice
 
I need some advice on changing the Trans filers and gasket on my 944. Anyone here ever change one on an auto 944 ?

AAMCO.

Same autotrans as other German cars; Audi and VW. Service should be the same.

Think I have a manual on the early 924 auto trans.

filter costs around $20. completely empty, the trans holds around 6 qts. of fluid. dropping the pan and draining from there i believe is around 2.5 quarts. drain when the tranny is warm.
filter install is the reverse of removal.
