Part number for licence plate bulb on pelican?

I can't find the part number for the licence plate bulb for my 1986 944 TURBO on pelican. Can someone help me out?

I would also like to verify that the "Oil Drain Plug Seal (22 X 27mm), 924S/944/968 All (1983-95), Each .35"

Is the gasket between the oil pan and oil drain plug I need to replace everytime I drain my oil?

-Adam

Uhmmmm the license plate bulb. Actually one of mine is burnt out as well.

..... I remember finding them at a local auto parts store. Nothing to special about that one......... Now the light for the digital clock now thats another story.

No need to replace the aluminum seal. Just don't over torque it. If you don't have a torque wrench go easy on it. If it leaks give it another quarter turn....etc.

Sylvania 3893 should do it for the license plate bulb. I had to take out and scrub the plastic lenses, it looked like they were tinted black.

I couldn't get a good seal without the washer for the drain plug. YMMV

All the auto parts stores i've been in don't have the bulb in stock, and I can't find Sylvania 3893 on pelican. Guess I'll have to keep checking the local parts stores.

I have a metal gasket with the drain plug now, I just thought I was supose to replace it everytime I changed the oil.
