water pumps
I ordered my water pump yesterday but was wondering if i can get a newer style pump that i hear people talking about. Is an 86 turbo already the newer pump? or should i have not ordered the pump for an 86 turbo but one for a newer year if i wanted the newer style? or are they all the new style and the old one was discontinued?

You will get the newer pump IF you ordered by the year and model of your car.

They're all the newer style unless they specifically state that it's an older style one. The block-off plate makes the newer style work for all years. All the turbos have the newer version.
