Maintenance = HP
Got my t-belt, balance shaft and cam chain done today. Man the car has more power at low RPM and I'm not dreaming, it's true. I got the same feeling when I changed my wires and distributor but this time it's real power that came back.
The most common question on this board is how to get more power out of my 944 (I asked it my self), the best bang for the buck is certainly maintenance on the car!!!!!!! Just a though. Philippe.

If you had the cam chain replaced it's possible that is was stretched. That and the realignment of the cam shafts to the cam pulley will "refresh" the HP. Cracked plug wires gounding out to the hood and/or engine rob HP too.
Then there is the 20 HP that is gained from a good wash and wax. It's a mater of perception.
