what is this rubber hose?
there's a small, approximately a half inch diameter, rubber hose that comes out of the brake fluid resevoir and goes through the drivers side of the hood, and down to behind the front driver's wheel well where it just sticks out there..... what is this hose? can take pics if needed..

I think you are confusing the blue hose that comes off the reservoir that connects to the master cyclinder ........... and then there is a hose that comes from that area across to the drivers side wheel well for gas fumes into a charcoal reservoir.

My bad - I obviously didn't look close enough. It actually doesn't come from the brake fluid resevoir... as you'll see from this pic (the white braided line going into the wall)..
first off - what is that? ![]() secondly, here is the rubber hose I was talking about - just behind the drivers side front tire... ![]() |

Braided (cloth covered) hose is the vent to the charcoal canister that you show in your last picture. Part of the emmissions control system.

If that last pic is of the bottom of the charcoal canister...the hose is a vent hose for the canister I believe.
