a/c question
hi folks
my a/c was recently short cycling, so had it checked ofr leaks and charged up.... it s ice cold now but...... on my drive home from the shop I noticed that the a/c wont turn off now... the compressor is alway engaged.... what could be causing this problem now??? over filled ? seems weird first a short cycling prob because of low pressure and now always on? any ideas? thks dub |
It is normal for it to not cycle off if:
1. The pressures are correct 2. Your fans are blowing properly 3. You have the temp control set to the blue dot. (assuming your car is 85.5+) AFJuvat |
thks for the reply,
the car is a 90s2, i have the temp to the blue dot but the a/c switch is in the off position.... is this the way the climate control works... it will automatically cool the car until the temp set is reached? if so then why have an a/c switch at all tks |
