So, what's a bad front wheel bearing sound like?
I replaced my alternator a few days ago & noticed a metallic kind of squeak upon driving.
It's not constant, often occurs when turning, but mostly on left turns & at low speeds(5 mph). Wheel bearing taking a dump? Anyone have a similar problem or have a suggestion? Thanks in advance! |

Front disc brakes. Could be from a bad/loose wheel bearing.

if its primarily when you are turning it is probably a wheel bearing. The sound will be a howling noise, it will get worse and louder. If its happening when you turn left it is probably the right bearing. Give the wheel a tug and see if you have any play.
