Well, it's gone..
My 944. New owner picked it up yesterday afternoon.
I got a good price for it, she should be happy - it had all new brakes, belts, rollers and tensioners. Technically, I still own a 944, the terms of the deal were cash and her wrecked 944. So I own a parts car now. AFJuvat

There's a guy on the 911 board trying to give away a 944 roller in Florida. May be worth a looky for you.

"Follow the light to the Aircooled side...a nice early 911 with MFI will help you overcome your loss very quickly..."

I don't come over to this board very often (I'm here to find info on hard start), but I will mention one thing for you, FWIW: I have a 911 SC, and a 968 cab. The 911 is more machine like than the 968; it's finicky, and I feel like I go through a mental checklist before I use it. The 968 is simply a treat to drive. That thing rocks...it has creature comforts, goes like hell, and sticks to the road pretty well. Also, no one has any idea what it is. If it didn't say Porsche on it, I don't know what anyone would think. I'd recommend a 968 cab to someone like yourself, a water cooled guy, in Florida, no less. It's nice to cruise in with the top down! The 968 really is the epitome of the water cooled series. Good luck on your next Porsche. Pat

Super Beetle? I always referred to mine as a glorified Karmann Ghia...(I'm actually serious about this...)

Well at least she went to a nice home.
My NA should be gone this wednesday as well. ......... and if all works out it will go to a very nice home as well. That makes me happy. ![]() Its funny I never listed the car .......only stuck it on PCA and here. The first guy that came to see it.....wants it. The mechanic gave it a once over (uhmm like an hour and a half). THe only thing is he forgot his compression tester.....So if compression checks out on wednesday its gone.

it is a 1986. Manual transmission, hood, fenders, and bumpers are shot.
