When i turn my 924 ignition "on", there should be 12 volts on one side of my ignition coil (term #15), but i measure no voltage!!
when i remove the wire from the coil and measure on the wire itself, i do measure a voltage of 12V. but when i put it back on, the voltage is gone again. i did measure if there is any current flowing but thats not the case. help! no voltage is no spark is not running! what can be the problem that the power is gone once i put the wire on the coil? (i measured the coil and thats in my other post about the ignition coil) thnx in advance! |

i was just looking at that circuit for another post and that power comes from a relay it may be that the contacts in your relay are not making a good connection and when the coil requires amperage the circuit is opening at the relay.

What year 924? Early 80's have an ignition modual and balast resistors between the voltage from the ignition switch and the over ride from the starter.
